Here’s a closer look at Miami and South Florida's newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this fall. The new and renovated Miami and South Florida venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.

Habibi Miami
Habibi Miami
Habibi Miami, a 4,308-square-foot indoor-outdoor French Moroccan supper club, opened in early October. Creative director Mark Lehmkuhl of Ghost House Group worked with Love Lake Studio to create the tentlike structure with nods to Moorish architecture highlighting the vibrant culture inspired by luxurious riads and lively ambiance. Retro decor elements were inspired by Wes Anderson and feature a palette of pink and teal, evoking a Beatles-era Tangier fever dream where belly dancers, contortionists, and percussionists complement the vibe. Executive chef Wladimir Arévalo transports diners with dishes like shish-barak de wagyu (dumplings with wagyu cheeks), roulés caramélisés (goat cheese-stuffed phyllo rolls), and côtelettes d’agneau (grilled lamb lollipops with roasted carrot puree). The bar program draws on North African and Mediterranean lifestyles using techniques like fat washing in the Ali Fashioned—even the Moroccan Margarita comes with a twist: a lime juice and roasted couscous salted rim. Habibi Miami can host birthdays, wedding events, and corporate dinners for up to 200 guests, and pricing starts at $50,000 Monday and Tuesday but jumps to $100,000 Wednesday through Saturday.

Boatyard
Boatyard
In September, Boatyard, a 13,500-square-foot Fort Lauderdale mainstay, reopened following a contemporary design update inspired by the luxury yacht lifestyle. Deep ocean-blue hues, sandy shades, and bronze and gold accents complement the woodwork. Familiar nods remain, like the two-story skylight, oar chandelier, hanging canoe, and portholes offering glimpses from room to room. The original bar area now has a wraparound banquette and more seating, while the secondary indoor bar has a checkered floor and multicolored suede ropes lining the ceiling. The original dining room now has cozy booths, custom chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling water views. There are three private dining rooms: Compass (12 guests), Anchor (18 guests), and Flagship (60 guests) with TV and presentation equipment, and the outdoor deck has new dockside seating. Fare honors local coastal eats with a new build-your-own seafood tower option and hearty fish and steak entrees. Cocktails include the group-friendly Ship Faced Shelley and the Caviar-tini with caviar-stuffed olives. Inquire for event pricing; corporate holiday parties, networking events, bridal and baby showers, and birthdays can be cocktail- or dining-style for groups of up to 200.

Marion Miami
Marion Miami
The reimagined concept of Marion Miami, a 5,633-square-foot Japanese restaurant in Brickell, debuted in September. Carlos Rodriguez of Escala Forma was tapped to bring this new vision to life with a sophisticated yet playful theme in rich pinks and cozy tones crafting a warm, inviting atmosphere. Guests are greeted by 15 custom Murano floral chandeliers imported from Italy, and as the night progresses, the ceiling transforms into an LED-paneled disco, complementing Marion’s lively nightlife presence. Outside offers open-air dining surrounded by lush foliage, and there’s an upscale Dom Pérignon Champagne display as well as a tequila room showcasing more than 300 premium bottles. Asian-Mediterranean flavors are infused into sushi rolls, fresh seafood, and USDA-grade prime steaks. A private dining room can host events of up to 50 guests, and blackout curtains are available for full privacy. Marion Miami is ideal for private corporate gatherings, birthday celebrations, holiday parties, press events, and rehearsal dinners. Events can include preset and customized menus, flexible furniture, wireless microphone access, DJs, and personalized entertainment options. Rates vary by event.

Japón at The Setai Miami Beach
Japón at The Setai Miami Beach
October welcomed Japón to The Setai Miami Beach’s elevated dining offerings. Honoring Japan’s decorated history, the lavish 5,000-square-foot design was completed by Saladino Design Studios and blends Japanese heritage with modern luxury. Inside, the main dining room (with seating for 50) features a crane mosaic and hand-painted panels, a sushi bar (seating for 12), and Japanese art. The tranquil outdoor courtyard (seating for 80) is clad with bonsai trees, a Japanese pagoda, reflecting pools, and moss-covered murals. The Kyoto Room (seating for 14) is the private dining room with a temple-inspired setting perfect for intimate dinners, high-end corporate meetings, and smaller celebrations. There’s a private entrance and bar, crane-themed mural wallpaper, Japanese motifs, and woodblock art laced with modern furniture and lighting. The menu was curated by executive chef Vijayudu Veena and Iván Monzón and includes fresh sashimi and sushi and a selection of authentic Japanese plates, as well as rare sakes, premier wines, and innovative cocktails. The space invites larger events like galas and cocktail receptions; prices are dependent on scope and size.

Casalina
Casalina
Delray Beach is now home to Casalina, a 6,000-square-foot Italian restaurant from Graspa Group that evokes Mediterranean coastal Italy. The late-October opening brought the cozy yet elegant 74-seat dining room with draped ceiling greenery and plush banquettes covered in crisp white tablecloths. The intimate 20-seat bar is a central gathering spot with relaxed sophistication, and the fully covered 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio with seating for 140 is anchored by a large lemon tree reminiscent of alfresco dining in Capri. Theme nights cater to the locals, from Baci & Abbracci Mondays with half-priced wine to Piano Bar Night Wednesdays. The fare is a signature blend of Italian tradition with modern flair and hints of American influences from chef Mattia Teagano—expect starters like Spanish octopus carpaccio, smoked duck breast, and eggplant and Bufala, and mains including veal Parmigiana, homemade pappardelle lamb ragu, and risotto Milanese. Casalina can host birthday and anniversary dinners, wedding events, baby and bridal showers, corporate and holiday parties, and more. Pricing is available on request.

Sparrow Italia
Sparrow Italia
In October, Noble 33 unveiled Sparrow Italia, a new contemporary Italian steakhouse in Wynwood and a tribute to Italy’s national bird, bringing Mediterranean vibes to Miami’s famed urban art district. Kobi Karp Architecture executed the blueprint of the expansive 8,700-square-foot space, which features a statement bar, arched booths entangled with colored ropes, and a series of suspended wooden arches that frame the sunken dining room—which offers an elevated stage for live entertainment each night. Designed by ICRAVE, desaturated blue velvets, textured Venetian plaster, and carved wood paneling with bronze and brass accents lend to the ambiance, which glows by candlelight. Chef Martin Heierling fires up opulent plates like wagyu carpaccio, bone marrow cappelletti, and whole lobster oreganata, along with a pizza-by-the-slice menu available at the bar. Beverage director Juan Carlos Santana stirs up spritzes and Negroni variations, and the wine list features bottles from Sicily, the U.S., and Champagne selections. Sparrow can accommodate full buyouts and semiprivate rentals for cocktail parties, celebratory dinners, and holiday gatherings with up to 232 guests; pricing varies, so inquire within.

Bodega Lounge at Hard Rock Stadium
Bodega Lounge at Hard Rock Stadium
Bodega Taqueria y Tequila brought its popular street food and Miami nightlife concept into Hard Rock Stadium for the Miami Dolphins' 2024 NFL season opener in September. The 144-seat, 3,200-square-foot Bodega Lounge features eight private suites and two bars dressed in barn wood, brick, and mixed metals with tin lanterns overhead to mimic the brick-and-mortar lounges. Bodega’s signature Airstream serves welcome margaritas, and the famed marquee rotates custom sayings for each game above the DJ booth. Banquettes, couches, and scattered wooden barrels as high-tops round out the design with murals by Juan Rozas and graffiti by Cushy Gigs. Food including burritos, tacos, quesadillas, bowls, nachos, ceviche, yuca frita, guacamole, and churros is served both buffet-style and at rotating stations. Access is granted to season ticket holders and the University of Miami Alumni Association during Hurricanes football games, and the space is buyout-friendly for concerts or private corporate events for up to 150. TVs are linked for presentations or special event previews, and music is customizable by Bluetooth. Inquire within for pricing.
