NEW YORK—In her new summer movie, It Ends With Us, Blake Lively plays a floral designer named Lily Bloom. In her off-screen life, Lively helms two beverage brands: Betty Buzz, which slings premium sodas, and Betty Booze, which offers canned cocktails.

“There are more similarities between creating the perfect bouquet and drink recipe than many think,” says Katie Palay, head of marketing at Betty Buzz and Betty Booze. “Both are all about curating the finest-quality products, finding the right balance, and enjoying them either just for yourself or with the people you care about most.”

At the Betty Blooms pop-up, overtaking New York City’s Starbright Floral Design through Aug. 20, flowers and fizzy drinks collide. The lush activation invites visitors to sample drinks from Lively’s beverage brands and shop three limited-edition flower arrangements that promote the film. Dubbed The Betty Blooms Floral Collection, the arrangements are inspired by various Betty Buzz flavors and are available for in-store pickup and shipping in the New York City area while supplies last.

“We wanted a floral partner that had the same brand values as Betty Buzz, priding itself on real, uncomplicated products that are crafted with love from ‘homemade recipes,'" Palay says on partnering with the Chelsea-based florist. "Starbright Floral Design does just that and more. As a floral shop, they place high importance on providing customers with real, fresh arrangements that can be shared with all.”

She adds: “They’ve truly been wonderful to work with, ensuring that the three movie-inspired arrangements felt authentic to the Betty Buzz brand, as well as bringing the collaboration to life with the in-store pop-up, building out the lush Betty Blooms shop.”

Ahead, peek inside the Betty Blooms pop-up and its kickoff event, which was a private party that allowed guests to make their own flower arrangements while sipping drinks and sampling snacks.

The Betty Blooms pop-up overtook Chelsea’s Starbright Floral Studio on Aug. 7 and will be open through Aug. 20. Designed to promote Blake Lively’s summer blockbuster, It Ends With Us, the pop-up also promotes Lively’s sparkling beverage brands: Betty Buzz and Betty Booze.

Other decorative touches include a Betty Blooms flower cart advertising “Fresh Flowers & Fizzy Refreshments.” On Instagram, Betty Buzz described the inspiration behind its flower-filled pop-up: “Mixing together the perfect flavor is much like putting together the perfect bouquet,” the brand wrote. “Sourcing the finest products, enjoying the process of putting together simple things and finding that the result is so much more beautiful, and the enjoyment you get keeping it to yourself or sharing it with the ones you love. With Betty Blooms, we wanted to show how special it is when flavor meets florals.”

At the private event, flower-making stations were stocked with recipe-style cards that shared the details for making the Betty Blooms arrangements. For example, the “Grandiose Grapefruit” called for one pink spray rose, two calla lilies, one to two lisianthus and statice, plus a “touch of” eucalyptus.

The event also allowed guests to sample drinks from Betty Buzz and Betty Booze. In honor of opening weekend for It Ends With Us, the brand shared specialty cocktail ideas on social media. One such drink is the “Blooming Betty,” which mixes Betty Buzz Sparkling Lemon Lime with tequila, honey, a Tajin rim, and an edible floral garnish.

In 2022, Veuve Clicquot celebrated 250 years with Solaire Culture, the company's first-ever global traveling exhibition. The experience evoked Veuve Clicquot’s legacy through a variety of installations—including works from 10 woman artists who were asked to create original pieces inspired by Madame Clicquot and the Champagne house. The exhibition featured museum-like rooms that highlighted the history of the brand. More than 80 archival objects and historical pieces were on display—and in one photo op-friendly room, bottles were treated like works of art.
