This year saw the opening of many significant event and meeting venues in Las Vegas. Here's a look at the best restaurants, party rooms, hotels, corporate event venues, conference centers, and private rooms to open in 2016. These new and renovated Las Vegas venues suit groups large or small for private and corporate events, business dinners, cocktail parties, conferences, weddings, and more.

Entertainment venue Topgolf opened its flagship location behind MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in May. The four-level, 105,000-square-foot venue features 108 climate-controlled hitting bays, two pools, a concert venue, V.I.P. suites, a retail shop, an atrium, five bars, and a games-focused space called the Yard. While any space within the venue can be used as an event space, Topgolf offers three traditional meeting rooms that each seat 40 or that can be combined to seat 120. The venue can accommodate as many as 3,000 people for events, and also offers customized food and drink menus and live-action cooking stations.

The 20,000-seat T-Mobile Arena opened in April. Located west of the Strip in between New York-New York and Monte Carlo, the arena hosts more than 100 events a year, from concerts and award shows to boxing and U.F.C. events. The venue also features 42 luxury suites and the V.I.P. nightclub Hyde Lounge. Additional event spaces include the 7,500-square-foot Bud Light Lounge that holds 500 reception-style, the 10,500-square-foot Goose Island Lounge that holds 700 reception-style, and four outdoor terraces that hold 600 standing.

Hyde Lounge debuted with T-Mobile Arena in April. Located on the top floor, the nightclub from SBE features bottle service, small plates, and entrees, as well as a variety of seating arrangements. The 18,000-square-foot space can hold 789 reception-style for private parties during events at the arena, and offers views overlooking the arena floor. Amenities include four full-service bars, a DJ booth, and private elevators.

The Thomas & Mack Center completed its $72 million renovation in September, which included updates to meeting rooms, escalators and elevators, restrooms, and arena seating. The most notable addition was the construction of a 35,000-square-foot, two-story multi-purpose event space called the Strip View Pavilion, which is available for private and public events of 400 seated and 600 standing. Along with a new state-of-the-art sound system and ceiling art grid, new tech-forward additions include two digital video marquees on the front of the venue and the implementation of a distributed antenna system to improve cell phone voice and data service.

Jewelry-inspired restaurant Beauty & Essex opened at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in May. Designed by the Rockwell Group, the venue features jewels of all sorts in spaces including a pawn shop from Tao Group, and the Pearl Lounge, which has plush purple banquettes and a chandelier comprised of draped pearls. The venue also features a bar with a gold DJ booth and a 40-foot screened wall made of framed vintage lockets, leading guests into the dining room that has metallic and jewel-toned hues. The 10,000-square-foot space seats 230 in the main dining room and 90 in the bar and lounge.

The Tropicana Las Vegas' South Beach-inspired pool club Sky Beach Club debuted in April. Spanning 37,603 square feet, the venue features 18 V.I.P. cabanas that come with ceiling fans, televisions, and refrigerators, as well as two pools, two bars, 29 poolside daybeds, and complimentary lounge chairs. The club also has an outdoor DJ booth with a stage and live table games. The space can hold as many as 2,000 for a variety of events including pool parties, cocktail receptions, or live music performances.

Beer Park by Budweiser at Paris Las Vegas, the city's first rooftop bar and grill, opened in January. Located on a 10,000-square-foot deck that overlooks the Strip, the space features picnic and high-top tables, a grassy lawn area, an outdoor grill, and more than 100 beers including 36 on tap that can be paired with American fare from the menu and roaming carts. The venue—which has a V.I.P. area for corporate outings and large parties—seats 200 in the dining room and 80 at a rectangular bar. In total, it holds as many as 500 people.

The frozen lounge Minus5 Ice Bar opened at the Shoppes at Mandalay Place in January. The bar is known for its ice sculptures, specialty cocktails, and LED light shows. The 1,300-square-foot space accommodates as many as 110, and a 3,000-square-foot lounge holds 500 for receptions. The venue will also offer two private rooms that hold 80 guests each.

The Spa at Red Rock by Well & Being opened at Red Rock Resort in June. The 25,000-square-foot spa has a mind-body studio, a functional fitness studio, and a custom-designed demo kitchen for personalized nutrition planning. The venue also offers fitness classes, a coed relaxation lounge, and a pool deck. The spa, which can hold as many as 450 in the entire space, offers a group wellness menu that includes vertical wall yoga sessions, stress management workshops, and outdoor hiking. Additionally, for groups, the spa can schedule as many as 230 treatments per day, and provides a "Glam It Up" program with customized beauty treatments, live music, and champagne and small bites in a newly renovated salon.

Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel and Casino opened Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck in March. At 35,000 square feet, the rooftop space has an infinity pool, cabanas, a full bar, a fire pit, grass seating, and games such as corn hole and table tennis. The venue can hold receptions for 1,200 guests. Menu items include a signature citrus slaw, frozen grapes, and ceviche tostadas.
