10 New Las Vegas Venues for Spring Meetings and Events

New conference spaces, eateries, drinking spots, and more for events and entertaining this spring.

Here's a look at new Las Vegas hotels, conference centers, restaurants, private rooms, and other spaces to open for events this spring. The new and renovated Las Vegas venues are available for conferences, meetings, corporate parties, weddings, fund-raisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, teambuilding activities, and more.
 

6. Clique Bar & Lounge
6. Clique Bar & Lounge

Clique, a new avant-garde lounge concept from Andy Masi's Clique Hospitality, debuted at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in January. The venue offers seasonal cocktails and house-made mixers, along with shareable plates from chef Brian Massie. Designed by Alessandro Munge, the interior includes dark wood and posh touches to create a swanky look. The 2,800-square-foot space seats 126.

1. T-Mobile Arena

The 20,000-seat T-Mobile Arena is slated to open in April with an opening concert headlined by Las Vegas locals the Killers. Located west of the Strip in between New York-New York and Monte Carlo, the arena will host more than 100 events a year, from concerts and award shows to boxing and U.F.C. events. The venue will also feature 42 luxury suites and the V.I.P. nightclub Hyde Lounge.

2. Minus5 Ice Bar
2. Minus5 Ice Bar

The frozen lounge Minus5 Ice Bar opened at the Shoppes at Mandalay Place in January. The bar is known for its ice sculptures, specialty cocktails, and LED light shows. The 1,300-square-foot space accommodates as many as 110, and a 3,000-square-foot lounge holds 500 for receptions. The venue will also offer two private rooms that hold 80 guests each.

3. Mr Chow
3. Mr Chow

Chinese restaurant Mr Chow debuted at Caesars Palace in December. Overlooking the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis on the hotel's second floor, the restaurant offers standard dishes served family-style and has a signature champagne trolley. The bar and main dining room seat 234 total, while the three private dining spaces seat 24, 24, and 28, respectively; two of the rooms can be joined together to seat 60. The 6,500-square-foot restaurant is also available for buyouts.

4. Encore Players Club
4. Encore Players Club

Innovative casino gaming venue Encore Players Club debuted at Wynn Las Vegas in December. Designed to attract millennials, the space offers traditional table games combined with social games including pool and indoor shuffleboard, as well as Suzo Happ InteractivePro tables and mobile sports betting (pending regulatory approval). The venue also has a live DJ and food menu for nationally televised game days. The 5,013-square-foot space holds 150; for private events, the reception capacity is 125.

5. Hong Kong Café

Hong Kong Café opened at the Palazzo Las Vegas in November. Helmed by chef Simon To, the restaurant offers a mix of Asian cuisine and Western fare, with dishes like Macau-style roasted pork belly, Chinese sausage, and a seafood pho. The 4,200-square-foot space seats 155 and offers buyouts and private sit-down dinners for as many as 145.

7. Harvest by Roy Ellamar

New American restaurant Harvest by Roy Ellamar debuted at the Bellagio Resort & Casino in January. The venue has market-driven seasonal menus inspired by regional farms, with traveling snack wagons and farm-inspired cocktails. The interior features wood flooring, paneled walls, copper accents, and hand-blown light fixtures. The 6,197-square-foot space seats 170 in the main dining room and 36 in a private dining room.

8. Brigg's Oyster Company

Oyster bar Brigg's Oyster Company opened at the Suncoast Hotel and Casino in November. An exhibition kitchen serves as the restaurant's centerpiece, offering everything from lobster rolls and shrimp cocktails to a variety of oyster and ahi tuna dishes. The interior sports black and white artwork, red banquettes, and convex mirrors. The 1,250-square-foot space seats 125.

9. Fresco Italiano
9. Fresco Italiano

Casual Italian restaurant Fresco Italiano opened at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in November. Inspired by Tuscan villas, the interior space is designed to mimic a train trip with faux windows that feature a sliding video wall of Italian landmarks. The menu offers make-your-own pasta dishes, hot and cold antipasto served table-side on rolling carts, and entrées including bone-in veal chop parmigianino on burrata. The 3,432-square-foot space seats 228 and is available for private events.

10. Pete Rose Bar & Grill
10. Pete Rose Bar & Grill

Named after the baseball legend and Las Vegas resident, Pete Rose Bar & Grill opened on the Strip in October. The restaurant and bar serves classic American fare, with specials that honor the three cities Rose played for: a Cincinnati chili on spaghetti, a Philly cheese steak, and a Montreal Expos-inspired poutine. The 9,000-square-foot space includes a main dining room that seats 250, a bar that seats 35, and a patio that seats 100. The restaurant is available for special events and offers semiprivate dining for large groups.
