This week's roundup includes Day of the Dead-theme cocktails in New York, a Guinness World Record-breaking light show in Moscow, illuminated sound-transferring poles in Miami, and American Horror Story: Hotel-theme decor in Los Angeles.

London-based global brand experience agency Drive Productions set its third Guinness World Record with the world's largest projection show at the fifth annual Circle of Light Moscow International Festival, which took place September 24 to October 4. The projection, which was created for LBL Communications and titled Light Discoveries, celebrated the world's greatest scientists and used C.G.I. and live-action green screen. The 19,099-square-meter light show consisted of 142 digital projectors across six towers, which provided five levels of projection across the façade of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

A flock of Bowmont Merino and Exmoor Longhorn sheep filled London's Savile Row on October 5 to kick off the United Kingdom's sixth annual National Wool Week by the Campaign for Wool, which runs through October 11. Savile Row tailor Huntsman celebrated by giving visitors workshop tours and throwing a a champagne and canapé reception, as well as showcasing three Lalanne sheep in its window and artwork by Joy Pitts.

The premiere party for American Horror Story: Hotel—the fifth season of Ryan Murphy's FX horror anthology—took place October 3 at Hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles. Designed and produced by Gold Sky Productions, the party transformed the hotel into the fictional Hotel Cortez. One of the creepier pieces of decor was a cake mold of a dead body in a bathtub filled with fake blood.

The third annual III Points Festival—focused on music, technology, and art—returned to Miami's Wynwood arts district October 9 to 11. The entrance to the Main Frame stage was constructed of illuminated poles that bounced sounds back and forth. The video sculpture was designed by artist Jason Boogie AV8 and titled "Theoretical FrameWork."

The WeWork Lounge by Muse Directive, a converted school bus, returned to the festival. The seating inside the bus, as well as bleachers outside of it and standing room on top, were popular viewing points for sets at the Sector 3 stage. The bus also had a charging station inside.

More than 7,000 pumpkins are carved for the Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze, located at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. This year, new creations include an immersive pumpkin planetarium and circus ghost train, featuring clowns, animals, and other colorful characters. Plus, artists can be found carving on site. The Blaze runs through November 15.

Mexican holiday Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, takes place November 1. For Day of the Dead parties, Brooklyn-based caterer Naturally Delicious prepares tequila-based cocktails. Drinks may include watermelon margaritas and mango margaritas made with Domaine de Canton and a chili-salt rim.

The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago hosted its annual Columbian Ball on October 3. To celebrate the museum's current exhibition Robot Revolution, a "double robot" comprising an iPad and kickstand made its way through the crowd. The device was activated by a museum staffer who virtually mingled with guests over drinks.

Escape Room L.A. launched two new rooms for the season. CreepLA, which launched October 9 and runs through Halloween, is an interactive experience for groups of six or more that takes over a haunted warehouse in the arts district. The second experience, known as the Theatre, launches on October 18: Guests enter through the stage door of an old haunted theater, where they have one hour to look for clues and attempt to get out. Group ticketing is available.

The second annual Rolex Central Park Horse Show took place September 23 to 27 at Wollman Rink in New York. Large horse-shaped topiaries echoed the event occasion and were placed at the exterior entrances to both the V.I.P. dinner tent and general admission. It made for a social media moment with tourists and the general public as they were placed on public pathways.
